Getting to the centre
When you arrive at Rebecca Adlington Leisure Centre, you’ll find everything clearly signposted to help you get to where you need to go.
If you’re driving, there’s on-site parking available for free whilst using the leisure centre.
If you're travelling by public transport, there is a bus stop conveniently located nearby on Dunsil Road and Westdale Road, making it easy to reach the centre via bus.
For those cycling in, bicycle racks are available outside the centre so you can securely lock up your bike during your visit.
Head inside and you’ll find reception right at the main entrance — this is your first stop for checking in, asking questions, or getting pointed in the right direction by our friendly reception team.
From there, follow the signage to make your way to the gym, pool, or studios depending on what you’re here for. If you're unsure where to go, a member of our team will be happy to help.
Gym & Classes Information
Gym
Whether you're here for your first workout or you're a seasoned gym-goer, getting started with us is simple.
When you arrive, check in at reception and have your membership details ready if you're already a member. Our team will be happy to help if you need any assistance finding your way around.
Before your workout, you can use the dry changing facilities located close to the gym. Lockers are available for your belongings – just remember to bring £1. Showers, toilets and hair dryers are also available should you need them before or after your session.
If it's your first visit to the gym, don't worry. Our team is always on hand to answer questions and help you feel comfortable using the facilities.
Parking is available for free on site.
Workout Classes
Arriving a few minutes before your class starts will give you plenty of time to get settled, meet your instructor, and prepare for your session.
After checking in at reception, head to the studio or activity area listed on your booking confirmation. If you're not sure where your class is taking place, a member of our team will be happy to help.
You can make use of the changing rooms and lockers before your class, and showers are available if you'd like to freshen up afterwards.
We offer a wide range of workout classes to suit all fitness levels and interests, including aqua classes, low impact classes and healthy life classes and more.
If it's your first class, there's no need to worry. Your instructor will explain everything you need to know, help you get set up, and make sure you feel comfortable before the session begins.

Swim Information
Swimming Lessons
When you arrive, check in at reception before heading to the pool changing village. Lockers are available for your belongings and £1 to use.
Children should be taken to the poolside drop-off point, main pool drop-off point is the exit gate and the teaching pool drop-off is the main gate on the right hand side, a few minutes before their lesson begins. Their teacher will collect them from this point at the start of the session and bring them back to the same location at the end for collection.
Parents and guardians can watch lessons from the poolside spectator seating area on the 1st floor at the balcony during the session.
If you have any questions about your child's lesson, changing stages or progress, our reception team will be happy to help. If you're ever unsure where to go, just ask a member of the team and we'll point you in the right direction.
General Swimming
Whether you're looking to enjoy a leisurely swim, improve your fitness, or spend time with family and friends, we offer a range of swimming sessions to suit everyone, including family fun swims, lane swimming, women-only swimming sessions, and more.

Once you're changed, follow the signage to the poolside. Please allow yourself a few extra minutes if it's your first visit so you have plenty of time to get settled before entering the pool.
