Our National Commercial Aquatics manager Helen Bull is here to tell us about a new and exciting opportunity at Maidstone Leisure Centre...

I’ve worked in the leisure industry in various capacities my entire career. I’ve worked on cruise ships, at Disneyland Paris, at Disney World in Florida and now I’m National Commercial Aquatics Manager for Serco Leisure, which operates Maidstone Leisure Centre on behalf of local authorities.

My role at Serco Leisure is all about increasing the number of people who are able to benefit from our excellent sports and fitness facilities, focusing on swimming, of course.

Well, you’re in luck as our new role at Maidstone Leisure Centre fit this description to a tee. We’re looking for people in possession of, or willing to work towards, a Swim England Level 2 Swimming Teacher qualification or STA level 2 Award and Certificate in Teaching Swimming.

At Maidstone Leisure Centre, we need a full-time Aquatics Commercial Lead. We can be flexible in how you work, so we’re happy to discuss remote working at times if it suits.
